Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

Privacy Policy
Inner Atlas is built around a simple promise: what you write here belongs to you, and only to you. This policy explains what we collect, how it is stored, and who can see it.
What We Collect
- Dream entries and journal entries — the dreams you record, the reflections you write, the emotions and symbols you tag, and any notes you attach to them.
- Account information — your email address and password (stored only as a secure, one-way hash), used solely to sign you in.
- App usage data — basic, anonymous information about which features are used, so we can understand what to improve. This data is never linked to the content of your entries.
How Your Data Is Stored
Your dreams and journal entries are stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by your account authentication — every request for your entries must prove it is you.
Who Can See Your Entries
Nobody but you. Dream entries, journal entries, and reflections are private and owner-only. They are never displayed publicly, never shared with other users, never sold, and never used for advertising. When you use the AI companion, your entry is processed only to generate your reflection and is not retained to train models or shared with other users.
What We Never Do
- We never sell your personal data to anyone.
- We never read, publish, or share the content of your dreams or journals.
- We never use your entries to train AI models.
Your Choices
You can edit or delete any entry at any time from within the app. Deleting an entry removes it permanently. If you delete your account, your entries and personal data are deleted with it. To request an export of your data or ask us to delete everything, contact us at privacy@inneratlas.app.
Cookies & Analytics
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. If we enable privacy-respecting analytics, they collect aggregate usage patterns only — never entry content.
Terms of Use
By using Inner Atlas, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are short, and they exist to keep this space safe for everyone.
1. The Service
Inner Atlas provides tools for recording dreams, journaling, and reflecting on personal patterns. It is a mirror for self-exploration, provided as-is and subject to occasional maintenance or updates.
2. Not Medical or Psychological Advice
Inner Atlas is not a medical, psychological, or psychiatric service. Interpretations, symbol meanings, and AI reflections are offered for curiosity and self-reflection only — they are not diagnoses, treatments, or professional advice. If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified professional.
3. Your Content
You own everything you write. By using the app, you grant us only the limited technical permission needed to store and display your entries back to you. We claim no ownership of your dreams, words, or reflections.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not use Inner Atlas to store unlawful content or to harm, harass, or impersonate others.
- Do not attempt to access, scrape, or disrupt other users' data or the service's infrastructure.
- Do not resell or redistribute the service without written permission.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for the activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. Availability & Changes
We work hard to keep Inner Atlas available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may update these terms — material changes will be announced in the app or on this page with a new "last updated" date.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inner Atlas is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions you make based on interpretations or reflections within the app.
